Ready to run?

Just a thought I wanted to share before the weekend:  I know some people go on their “long run” over the weekend.  Sometimes an additional eye can catch a flaw in form.  Every now and then it’s good to have someone watch your stride, have them make sure everything lines up correctly.  It’s also good to check stabilizer strength, too (adductor and abductor strength).  Many people do this when getting fitted for new running shoes and it’s a good pratice.  Make sure the person watching knows what they are doing.  Just because someone is fast doesn’t mean they have good form.

Like I end many posts: Many trainers offer free assessments (I do).  Even if someone doesn’t want to continue training regularly, I’m happy to share my ideas with them after an assessment (for free).
